Deval Parmar is a highly skilled Doctor of Physical Therapy with over eight years of experience in treating neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. A graduate of Gujarat University (India) with a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy, Deval furthered his education with a master’s in exercise science from Long Island University in Brooklyn and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Touro University. His diverse training spans acute, sub-acute, home health, and outpatient settings, giving him a well-rounded perspective on patient care.
Deval Parmar specializes in pre-injury sports-specific conditioning, post-injury management for both sports and non-sports-related orthopedic conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and stroke recovery. His expertise includes a wide range of techniques, such as manual therapy, PNF techniques, electrotherapy, Kinesiotaping, vestibular rehabilitation, soft tissue mobilization, trigger point release, myofascial release, Maitland and Mulligan mobilizations, and the adult Bobath approach. This comprehensive skill set allows him to tailor treatments to each patient’s unique needs.
